The house where our boutique hotel is located is a reflection of the beautiful and historic Cartagena. In the seventeenth century, Jose de Ayos, one of the heroes of the independence of the city, was given the task of building the magnificent 2500 m2. A couple of centuries later, at the end of the 19th century, the house became the property of the Mainero family, becoming a trade center of the republican era. The centuries and their various uses have only added charm to the house. In 2002, Del Sol group decided to restore the house and preserve its memory for its new visitors, the guests of our Hotel Boutique Casa del Arzobispado.

 

Colonial art, original religious pieces, traditional fabrics, unique objects that whisper legends to us, mark the style of the house and accompany the living rooms, the terrace, the dining room; while the wide corridors lead us to the interior patio, the place that keeps a magnificent swimming pool bathed by the sun.
